In Lords of the Fallen, boss fights are the central focus of the gameplay, representing the pinnacle of challenges that players must face. These encounters serve as major milestones and propel the progression of the game. It is crucial to defeat the majority of bosses since they act as barriers to further advancement. The game's narrative remains at a standstill until these story-related bosses are successfully defeated.
In Lords of the Fallen, there is a boss named Scourged Sister Delyth. While she may initially appear to be an easy opponent, she possesses formidable strength and inflicts both physical and bleed damage. To emerge victorious in this battle, it is essential to comprehend and anticipate all of Scourged Sister Delyth's attack patterns and employ appropriate strategies to defeat her.
Scourged Sister Delyth Boss Attack Patterns

Scourged Sister Delyth is an unavoidable boss encounter that players will naturally come across while playing Lords of the Fallen. She wields a Flail weapon, which deals physical damage to the player. Additionally, she has the ability to inflict a bleed status effect that activates when the bleed bar reaches its maximum capacity. This typically occurs when players sustain repeated hits from the boss, allowing the bleed status effect to accumulate and eventually trigger.
First Phase
The initial phase of the Scourged Sister Delyth boss battle is characterized by her slow movement speed and a few weapon attacks. If the player gets too close to the boss, she will respond with two swing attacks using her Flail weapon. However, once she completes both swings, it creates a favorable opportunity to easily land a couple of hits on the boss.
Scourged Sister Delyth occasionally initiates her combo attacks in the first phase with a Kick. This tends to occur when players begin dealing damage to her without waiting for an appropriate opportunity to strike back.
Another frequently observed occurrence is Scourged Sister Delyth's charged flail weapon ground pound attack. This primarily transpires when the player maintains a medium or long distance from the boss, and she attempts to close the gap by executing a charged attack. Successfully dodging this attack will create a significant opportunity to unleash a fully charged counter-attack on the boss, resulting in substantial damage.

Scourged Sister Delyth also utilizes an uppercut Flail attack followed by a ground smash. This sequence typically takes place when attacking the boss from behind or from the sides after successfully dodging her previous attack. The initial uppercut is swift, making it relatively easy to parry and create an opportunity to disrupt her balance, leaving the boss vulnerable to a visceral attack.
Lastly, when Scourged Sister Delyth's health bar reaches around 30-40 percent, she may become more aggressive and execute a three-hit flail weapon swing attack. All three of these attacks follow predictable patterns and can be effectively parried.
Second Phase

Once Scourged Sister Delyth's health bar falls to 50 percent or below, the boss fight in Lords of the Fallen will transition into the second phase. One of the indicators that signals the start of phase 2 is when Scourged Sister Delyth employs radiance magic to enhance her attacks.
When Scourged Sister Delyth's health drops to 50 percent or lower, she utilizes Radiance magic to enhance her movement speed and attack power.
The boss retains its basic attack patterns from the first phase but significantly amplifies them in the second phase. To begin with, Scourged Sister Delyth often initiates attacks with a rapid dash, followed by a swing and a subsequent jumping ground attack.

The ground attack in the second phase inflicts substantial damage. However, it is slow and highly predictable, allowing players to easily evade it with a well-timed dodge roll and avoid taking any damage.
When Scourged Sister Delyth is empowered by radiance magic, she will unleash a four-hit attack sequence with her Flail weapon. With precise timing, it is possible to dodge all four swing attacks. Alternatively, since these attacks do not cover a significant range, maintaining a distance from the boss or quickly executing a dodge roll away from her can effectively prevent being hit.
Scourged Sister Delyth Boss Fight Strategy

To defeat the Scourged Sister Delyth boss, it is essential to focus on timing your own attacks and mastering the parry or dodge mechanics. Consistently parrying her attacks will create openings for visceral attacks, significantly shortening the overall boss fight as you deal more damage.
We suggest using the Umbral Lamb ability and immediately pulling Scourged Sister Delyth's soul at the beginning of the boss fight. This will provide enough time to land three to five hits, inflicting significant damage right from the start of the battle.
By applying weapon buffs like Holy Salts or Fire Salts, you can enhance your attack power and add extra elemental damage to each strike against Scourged Sister Delyth. This will result in a greater reduction of her health with each hit. While raw physical damage can be effective, it is worth noting that Scourged Sister Delyth is weak against Holy damage. Therefore, it is advisable to buff your weapons with the mentioned element for optimal effectiveness.
The most effective strategy to avoid getting hit is to execute two or three swift attacks with a heavy weapon, followed by creating distance, patiently waiting for the next opening, and repeating the process. Dual-wielding individuals with light weapons can even extend their attack combos to four or six hits before retreating to a safer distance.
Scourged Sister Delyth possesses some of the slowest and most predictable swing attacks, which makes them easy to parry. The initial attacks that start her combos are particularly straightforward to anticipate, and parrying them should not pose a problem.
When the boss becomes staggered, it is crucial not to squander the opportunity and instead consistently perform visceral attacks to deplete a significant portion of her health. This will greatly simplify the Scourged Sister Delyth boss fight.
As Scourged Sister Delyth inflicts bleed damage, it is advisable to carry Bleed Resistance Balm to reduce the accumulation of bleed caused by her weapon. This is particularly useful during the first phase of the boss fight.
