As you engage in The Ancient Palace investigation, your task will be to track down the Tha'abeen, who are all part of the secretive group called The Order. Each member of this group possesses a Mysterious Shard. In typical Assassin's Creed Mirage fashion, every ruthless action you take will have its rewards. These shards serve as your key to obtaining some of the finest weapons available in the game!
We will guide you on how to locate and capture all the members of The Order and secure your rewards. This time, things are a bit more challenging, as these collectibles are constantly in motion. However, do not worry, as this will only be a small obstacle on your path to obtaining your valuable treasures!
Unlocking The Ancient Palace Investigation
As the story progresses, you will pursue Nehal in Anbar. Once you locate Nehal, you will have the opportunity to investigate the Northern Oasis. The Northern Oasis can be found to the east of Anbar.
Upon reaching the oasis, submerge yourself into the lake, and you will discover a hidden chamber beneath. Inside this chamber, you will come across three treasures, each requiring a specific number of Mysterious Shards to claim. Once you have accessed the chamber, you will be able to identify the members of The Order who possess the Mysterious Shards.
Confronting The Tha’abeen
As mentioned in the introduction, one of the unique aspects you'll encounter while searching for the Mysterious Shards is that they do not remain in a fixed location like other collectibles in the game. Instead, each member of The Order carrying a shard follows a specific route. Therefore, when describing their locations, we will inform you of the region where you will encounter them and provide a specific location where they will pass by.
The most effective approach is to deploy Enkidu for scouting purposes. Once they have been detected by your reliable eagle, you will have their location permanently marked, making it much easier to track them from that point onwards.
It is important to mention that some of these Shard-carriers will be accompanied by guards. Therefore, be prepared to engage in combat with a small group of adversaries!
It is worth mentioning that you are not required to kill the Tha'abeen. If you prefer, you can attempt to pickpocket them to acquire their shard. However, be aware that they are always highly vigilant, making this approach considerably more challenging than simply attacking them from behind.

This lady roams in the Yasiryah section of Abbasiyah, located at the northern end of that area. Her route stretches from the House of Wisdom to the Observatory. She is completely unguarded, so you shouldn't encounter any difficulty in eliminating her.
This Tha'abeen can be found wandering around the vicinity of the Hatlanah Pharmacy, which is located south of the Hammam bathhouse. They travel alone and are easily susceptible to ambush.
Fief Of Rayasanah
In the northern region of Karkh, specifically within the district of Fief of Rayasanah, you will come across a lady aimlessly strolling. Her path will lead her past the southern vicinity of the Qadi District Office. It is worth noting that she possesses one of the enigmatic shards. It is imperative that you confront and neutralize her.
Located in the Tabik district, on the southern edge of Karkh, you will encounter this discreet gentleman. Although it may vary in individual instances, our observations suggest that this gentleman exhibits a particular affinity for the vicinity surrounding the Gate of the Mills. It is worth mentioning that he is accompanied by a solitary guard, adding a touch of challenge to the situation.
Within the southern expanse of the Round City, you will come across this sophisticated gentleman leisurely exploring his surroundings. His route will take him in close proximity to notable landmarks such as the Basra Gate and even the southern viewpoint near Harem.
Another individual with a penchant for traversing the Round City can be found in its northern region. They frequent the Administrative District, where they encircle the Postal Bureau building. Similar to their counterpart in the Residential District, this person is accompanied by guards. Intercepting them at this location would prove opportune.
The bearer of the shard will follow a circular path around the western edge of Anbar. They will proceed towards the city center before taking a southward turn, eventually leaving the confines of the city and venturing into the untamed wilderness. It is important to note that they are accompanied by two spear-wielding soldiers, so exercising caution when approaching this individual is advisable.
This particular Tha'abeen can be found meandering through Jarjaraya, situated southeast of Karkh. He is frequently spotted to the east of the city, along the road that parallels it, making it an opportune location for an ambush. However, it is crucial to be aware that he is guarded by two heavily armored soldiers, posing a formidable challenge.
